Board Implemented Rules-    ALL PASSED

• Hitches must be 3 x 3 ¾ with a tolerance of + or – of 1/8 of an inch. 

• Pre- Commit payment is now available for hook fees.  The late sign up/phone call is being taken advantage of so if you would like you can pay your hook fee’s in advance and have your number drawn for you.  This is for all classes.

• Vehicle must be driven onto the track and backed to the sled by driver of said class.  We will no longer allow a change in driver on the track.

• When co-sanctioning with other associations if you are hooking in a class with MSTPA all safety and fire suit protection must be worn.  No Exceptions.

• Kill switches – all must be checked prior to first hook and at boards discretion throughout the season.  If there is a restraint when checked restraint must break and the cable come completely out.

General Meeting

General Rules and Vehicled Rules:

• If a puller loses a weight after 300 ft, a puller should not be disqualified.  Since there is no out of bounds after 300 ft. it seems that a puller should not be DQ for losing a weight after that point. PASSED

• The option puller would still have the right to come back for their option pull, even if they were DQ on their first attempt.  PASSED

Class Rules

ProStreet 4x4

• Allow the use of oxygenated fuel    PASSED

5700 Profield Tractor

• Any ag motor with like brand ag rear end   PASSED
• Gas tractors may eliminate governors bur must have ignition chip rev limiter and may run down draft carburetors but no predators allowed   PASSED
• Remove rule # 7 from rule book  PASSED
• All tractors turbo and naturally aspirated will weigh 5700lbs. Max   PASSED
• 650 cubic inch limit on naturally aspirated tractors   PASSED
• No RPM limit on NA Tractors   PASSED
• NA gasoline tractors may run one (1) 4 barrell carburetor, no throttle bas fuel injection systems and no electronic or manual controlled fuel injection systems on any gasoline tractors.   PASSED

ADD TO RULE BOOK:  Sheet metal needs to be in the family of the tractor.

6200 Prostock 4x4

• No electronic traction control devices allowed.   PASSED

7400 Modified Tractor

• Allow diesel superstock tractors to weigh 8000 lbs in the 7400 Modified Class.  This will be evaluated after 3 hooks.   PASSED
